"There is an exception to every rule, with the approval of the director." -Me
All choir members need to have the following compliance documentation on file at the parish: Application for Volunteers with Children and Youth; Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check; Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare Child Abuse History Clearance; Signed Compliance Statement; Attendance at Safe Environment Inservice; Confidential Reference Form (if applicable). Along with our desire to glorify God, we also like to develop an appreciation for commitment among our members. When a member commits to being a part of the choir, he or she commits to joining our family and a family members absence is painful. Therefore, we have developed attendance guidelines to strengthen our family and renew a sense of membership pride. |
The choir is expected to dress suitably for their ministry. Logo t-shirts and sweatshirts are not accepted attire. Jeans are also not allowed (with the exception of Parish Family Nights). Shorts during the summer should be dressy, no cut-offs will be allowed. Also, during colder weather, please remove your coat and hang it up before mass. If you think youll be chilled, please bring a suit coat or sweater. |

| SEASONS | ||||
|
Each liturgical year will be divided into seasons. All rehearsal schedules (subject to change) and expectations will be given in writing to choir members. If you are unable to meet rehearsal requirements for a specific season, you will not be permitted to sing for the more significant liturgies of that season. Also, you will be encouraged to take a leave of absence for the following season (i.e. only attend 8 rehearsals in Season 1, rejoin in Season 3). | ||||
